SINTECO’S UPGRADE OF SEVESO LAW HAS BEEN APPROVED BY THE REGIONAL TECHNICAL COMMITTEE
 
The CLP Regulation will became effective from July 2015. As consequence, a number of chemical hazardous products will probably change their classification for the worse.
To be ready to face this new situation, in full compliance with the law, Sinteco presented to the Authorities the request to increase the storage capacity of hazardous products, accordingly to the Seveso Law.
The project has involved the redesigning of the lay out of the storage units and the revision of all safety procedures and related training for all the employees .
The adequacy of technical and safety equipments had to be verified as well.
The project has finally been approved in July 2014, making Sinteco the Italian logistics provider  that has been authorized for the highest level of storage for hazchem products.
The authorization has been released for the 20.000 square meters of S. Giuliano Milanese ; the same process is ongoing for the Pavia warehouse as well.
